These terms govern your participation in the Creator School affiliate program operated by NM Media LLC.
By applying to or participating in the Creator School affiliate program ("the Program"), you agree to these terms in addition to the Creator School Terms of use, Privacy policy, and Affiliate disclaimer.
The Program is operated by NM Media LLC ("the Company"), the owner of Creator School. The Company reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Eligibility
To join the Program you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract
- Have an active email address and a payout method we support (PayPal, Stripe Connect, or wire where available)
- Have at least one channel where you reach a real audience (a newsletter, podcast, YouTube channel, social account, course community, or website)
- Comply with all applicable laws in your country, including disclosure rules from the FTC or your local regulator
- Not be a current employee, contractor, or immediate family member of the Company unless explicitly approved in writing
Application and approval
All affiliate applications are reviewed manually. Approval is at the sole discretion of the Company. We may approve, reject, or revoke participation at any time without obligation to give a reason.
We reserve the right to remove anyone whose audience, channel, or promotional methods we believe do not align with the values of Creator School. This includes channels that traffic in spam, hate speech, harassment, illegal content, or misleading claims.
Commission structure
Approved affiliates earn a commission on qualifying sales of Creator School products and services that complete through their unique affiliate link. Commission rates, eligible products, and any tier structure are listed in the affiliate dashboard and may change with notice.
A sale is qualifying when the customer completes payment, the order is not refunded or charged back within the refund window, and the original click is attributed to your link by our tracking system. Sales that do not meet these conditions are not commissionable.
Attribution and cookie window
Tracking is cookie-based with a default attribution window of 60 days from the last click on your affiliate link. If a customer clicks links from multiple affiliates, last-click wins unless we state otherwise for a specific campaign.
We do not commission self-purchases, purchases by your immediate family, or purchases made using your own discount or coupon codes unless we explicitly authorize self-referrals.
Payouts
Commissions are paid monthly for the previous calendar month, after the refund window has elapsed for each sale. The minimum payout threshold is fifty US dollars; balances below the threshold roll over to the following month.
You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and any tax forms required in your jurisdiction (for example, a W-9 in the United States or a W-8BEN for non-US affiliates). We reserve the right to withhold payouts until valid tax documentation is on file. We are not responsible for fees charged by your bank or payout provider.
Allowed promotion methods
You may promote Creator School through:
- Your newsletter, blog, podcast, or website
- Organic social posts on platforms where you have an account in good standing
- YouTube videos, Shorts, Reels, TikToks, and similar long or short-form video
- Honest reviews, comparisons, tutorials, and case studies
- Email recommendations to subscribers who have opted in to your list
- Paid ads on platforms that allow affiliate traffic, with prior written approval from the Company
Prohibited promotion methods
You may not promote Creator School through any of the following:
- Bidding on Creator School trademarks, brand terms, or close variants in paid search or social ads
- Domain names, social handles, or app names that include Creator School trademarks or close variants
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden iframes, or any tracking technique that records a click without an explicit user action
- Spam email, unsolicited messages, comment spam, or paid placements on link farms
- False, misleading, or unverified earnings or outcome claims
- Misrepresenting yourself as the Company, an employee, or a customer
- Promotion alongside content that promotes hate, harassment, sexual content involving minors, illegal goods, or any content that violates platform rules
- Coupon, deal, or cashback sites without prior written approval
- Use of artificial intelligence to generate fake reviews, fake testimonials, or impersonations of real people
Use of brand assets
We grant approved affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Creator School logos, screenshots, and approved marketing copy solely for promoting the Program. You may not modify the logos, combine them with your own brand to imply partnership beyond affiliate status, or use them in a way that suggests endorsement of products we do not endorse.
All brand assets remain the property of the Company. The license ends automatically when you leave the Program or when we terminate your participation.
Required disclosures
You agree to clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with Creator School in any content that includes affiliate links, in line with FTC guidance and any local equivalent. A disclosure such as "This link is an affiliate link, which means I may earn a commission if you buy through it at no extra cost to you" placed near the link or at the top of the content is acceptable.
Failure to disclose is grounds for removal from the Program and forfeiture of pending commissions.
Refunds, chargebacks, and reversals
Commissions are reversed when an attributed order is refunded, charged back, or canceled. If reversed commissions exceed the balance owed to you in a given period, we may carry the negative balance forward, deduct from future commissions, or invoice you for the difference.
We reserve the right to withhold or claw back commissions that result from fraudulent activity, traffic that violates these terms, or activity that we reasonably believe is abusive of the Program.
Confidentiality
Information shared with you through the affiliate dashboard, partner channels, or private campaigns (including unreleased pricing, conversion data, and roadmap details) is confidential. You agree not to disclose it without our written permission, except where disclosure is required by law.
Independent contractor
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of the Company. You have no authority to make commitments on behalf of the Company. You are responsible for your own taxes, expenses, and compliance obligations in connection with your participation in the Program.
Term and termination
Either party may end this agreement at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. On termination, your affiliate links stop earning new commissions and your license to use brand assets ends.
We may terminate immediately and withhold pending commissions if we determine, in good faith, that you have breached these terms, harmed the Company brand, engaged in fraud, or violated applicable law.
Changes to the program
We may change commission rates, eligible products, attribution windows, payout terms, or any other aspect of the Program at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the affiliate dashboard or via email to the address on file. Continued participation after a change takes effect is your agreement to the change.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the Program will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or that any specific level of earnings will be possible. Past results of other affiliates are not a guarantee of your results.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Program is limited to the commissions paid or owed to you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Company harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your participation in the Program, your promotional content, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to the Program will be resolved by binding arbitration in Sheridan, Wyoming, conducted in English, except that either party may bring an action in small claims court for qualifying disputes.
Entire agreement
These terms, together with the Creator School Terms of use, Privacy policy, and Affiliate disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Program and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
